High Plains Pronghorn

Pursue North America’s fastest land animal across the wide-open prairies of the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico.

The vast grasslands of the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico provide ideal habitat for healthy populations of pronghorn antelope. Known for their exceptional eyesight, unpredictable behavior, and incredible speed, pronghorn present a unique challenge that differs from any other big game species in North America.

These private land hunts are generally less physically demanding than many of our mountain and desert hunts, with much of the day spent covering country by vehicle and glassing large expanses of open terrain. Once a mature buck is located, careful planning and execution are often required to get within range. Their sharp vision, herd instincts, and ability to cover ground at remarkable speeds make every stalk both challenging and rewarding.

Our all-inclusive pronghorn hunts are structured as three-day experiences, including a half-day on arrival, two full hunting days, and a final half-day on departure. Guests enjoy home-style meals, comfortable ranch-style lodging, and professional 2×1 guided service throughout their stay.

Hunters can expect opportunities at mature trophy bucks ranging from 70 to 80 inches, representing excellent pronghorn genetics and quality on the properties we hunt.
