Javelina Hunting
West Texas javelina hunts are set up just the same as any of our other free range West Texas hunts with lots of glassing and spot and stalk hunting. The country these guys live in is oftentimes very rocky and thorny and all around unforgiving. They can be found in groups as small as 2 or as large as 20 and concentrate in the brushy draws middle of the day while feeding into open areas morning and evening. Males and females both have “cutters” and almost identical coloring, but mature boars will be larger in body size and will be the ones we target.
These all inclusive hunts are 3 days, ½ day on arrival, 2 full days, and ½ day on departure. All inclusive homestyle meals, ranch house lodging and 2×1 professional guiding are all included. There is a two person minimum requirement to book this hunt and each hunter is allowed two javelina per their state issued license.
